The Cancer Treatment in North Carolina: Patient Centered Care lecture series covers components of patient-centered health care delivery in cancer treatment and survivorship. The focus of this series is not disease-specific but includes discussion of approaches to improving care delivery for all cancer patients and survivors.

These courses are intended for medical, radiation, and surgical oncologists, hematologists, advanced practice nurses, registered nurses, physician assistants, researchers, pharmacists, trainees, allied health personnel, and others who are interested in care for patients and survivors in North Carolina.

The Patient Centered Care lectures offer the following types of continuing education credits and certificates:

  • 1.0 CNE from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) 
  • 1.0 ACPE contact hour from the UNC School of Pharmacy (on select lectures/courses
  • 1.0 Category A credit from the American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT)
  • a general certificate of completion

Learning Portal users can also earn CME as well as CNE, ACPE, and ASRT CE credits with our Research to Practice courses.
